Natural wax jelly – Alternative to white petroleum jelly

Creating a natural wax jelly as an alternative to white petroleum jelly is a great idea for a versatile and skin-friendly product.

 500 g Hydrogenated castor oil
 2 tsp carnauba wax
 2 tbsp Beeswax beads (white)
 1 tbsp castor oil
1

In a pot over the stove, melt all the ingredients together over a low heat.

Allow to cool. It is ready for use.

Please note that this product does have an odor to it. In cooler weather it does become slightly harder.

Applications: Lipsticks, Balms, Lotions.

Viscosity builder for lotions, creams. Emollient.

Idea – If you want a product that has a thinner viscosity you can omit the beeswax wax to achieve an ointment base.
