Wearing gloves, mask and safety glasses add the caustic soda Pearls to the water. Stir gently until dissolved.
In a seperate large stainless steel pot over a low heat, add the coconut oil, castor oil, stearic acid and lauric acid. Stir intermittently until the mixture is completely melted.
When the temperature has reached approximately 70deg celcius add the caustic soda (lye mixture) The lye mixture should be approximately 50 degrees celcius, gently and slowly into the mixture. Stir well over a low heat, regulating the heat so that the mixture does not burn. Stir until the gel phase has passed. Still over a low heat, add the Dehyton, propylene glycol, sorbitol and glycerine. Allow to cook gently over a very low heat for approximately 20minutes. Add triethanolamine and stir well. Pour into moulds and allow to set. Slice the soap and make your own soaps. You can add water soluble dye to colour the soap and fragrance oils or Essential Oils.
