90 g Emulsifying wax
 50 g Avocado oil
 100 g Shea butter
 50 g Grapeseed oil
 20 ml aloe extract
 20 ml cucumber extract
 1.50 l hot deionised water (90 degrees celcius)
 Optional Preservative – Kemaben

Method:

Gently melt all the oils and butters and emulsifying wax together in a stainless steel pot on the stove top until just melted. Add this to the hot water and commence blending immediately. You can use a spatula or an electric blender. I find using a stick blender to be more efficient than by hand for this process. Blend it well for a approx 2 minutes (if you are using a stick blender), allow to rest and while the cream is cooling blend for a few minutes every now and then until cooled and smooth. Then add your essential oil or extracts of choice and lastly add the preservative.
