You can colour your cream using water soluble dye and if you dont want to use essential oils you can use fragrance oils.

Method

In a stainless steel pot, melt emulsifying wax, white petroleum jelly and oil together. Really gently and over a low heat until just melted. Add this to the hot water. Commence blending immediately. Preferably with a stick blender. Once cooled add glycerine and blend a bit more until smooth and consistent.

Now you can add your active ingredients. Stir in well and make sure your product is properly cooled before decanting.

I always want to beat myself up about the fact that I did not publish this one first.. But as time has gone and as I have learnt I am sharing my journey with you. so forgive me for keeping it in the order that it is published in. This basic formulation is the one to go to for all emulsifying products, creams, lotions, butters. Reduce the water.. substitute the petroleum jelly for more natural goodies. Oh ..before I forget.. you can add.. water soluble dye to colour it.. and essential oils or fragrance oils. As with the rest of my recipes.
