Recipe – how to make fizz balls

Fizz Balls

Fizz bomb double sided mould
Dry Ingredients

2 Cups bicarbonate of soda

1 cup citric acid

1 Cup Maizena/Cornstarch

Sieve all ingredients well until smooth

Liquid ingredients

5 tablespoons sunflower oil

1 Tablespoon water

4 Teaspoons fragrance or essential oil

4 Tablespoons emulsifier


Combine all liquid ingredients and shake well together.  Drizzle onto dry ingredients and mix well together.

Pack balls of mixture tightly into Moulds and slide the balls out the moulds.  Place balls onto a wooden board or cardboard to dry out over night.  Package Fizzballs into cellophane bags or fizz ball holders.
