Lip Balm

Makes 50 x 5ml units

250ml White Petroleum Jelly

1 Teaspoon white beeswax beads

q.s. Oil Dye

q.s. Fragrance/essential oil

q.s. optional shea butter 1 tablespoon

50 Lip balm containers

In a pot over the stove melt the beeswax and White Petroleum jelly and butter(gently) do not boil.

Add a few drops oil dye and your favourite fragrance or essential oil.  Avoid floral

fragrances.  Choose a fragrance that you can imagine eating…e.g. strawberry,

bubblegum or peach.  Pour into containers. 

Making Lip balm from our Lip balm base

Lip balm base consits of Shea butter, cocoa butter, wheatgerm oil, sweet almond oil, coconut oil. petroleum jelly, beeswax

500ml makes 50 x 10ml lip balm jars

Remove base from Jar.

Gently melt the base in a clean pot over the stove until melted.
Add desired amount oil dye.
Add desired amount fragrance.
Pour into jars.
Allow to cool.
Place lids on jars.

Natural lip gloss

Use Glass roller ball bottles for this.

Add a few drops fragrance oil or essential oil of your choice to Sweet Almond oil.
Shake well.
Decant into roller ball bottles.

Tip : Tea tree essential oil is great for healing fever blisters.

Mango Lip Balm

Makes approx 70 x 10ml lip balm jars

500ml White Petroleum Jelly
10ml Mango Fragrance
100ml Shea butter
1 Tablespoon Beeswax Beads

Melt all ingredients together in a pot over the Stove.

Pour into jars.  Allow to cool

Print labels and apply to jar with dc fix (the sticky plastic stuff)
